FOR SALE

1995 Cobra R Mustang

Production Number 3 of 250
Miles: 14,971

The Cobra is kept in storage so it's in pristine condition! This is the lowest serial numbered 95R to be sold to the public. The original owner raced the car in SCCA Pro Solo for a few years. I am the second owner. I purchased it in 2001 and have used it mainly for open track events and some autocross. I am the starter and Vice President of the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association and have run the car on the Bonneville Salt Flats- In 2004 the car was timed on the Salt at 165.103 MPH.

The car has some upgrades on it and changes from stock condition.  The cylinder heads are Ford Racing X303 aluminum and the cam has been updated to the version that Ford recommended shortly after the cars were built (don't know the cam specs).  The stock seats have been removed and I installed a pair of Recaros.

I built a set of full length headers and installed an x pipe and side exhaust mufflers.  The rear suspension has a Griggs torque arm and panhard bar installed.

I have not registered the car for street use since 2002; the catalytic converters have been removed and it will not meet our local requirements for emissions compliance.

Original parts and documentation will be included with the vehicle.

This car has been used for SCCA Solo and Pro Solo racing as well as open track events. The vehicle has not been crashed and retains the original paint, all of its original sheet metal and bumpers. The paint shows some wear around the wheel openings, but that is just the natural patina of a car that has been used. The car is ready to go and is set up for HPDE, open road racing or whatever you have in mind.
